I LOVE this place. Everything here is awesome. My favorite Italian beef is here and they have seriously tasty fries. 5 stars all day

No shakes at this location. Didn't get anything because of this. Might give them a chance some other time.

Best Italian beef ive ever had!

I ordered the gyro meat well done, n even reminded them at the pick up window n they said they are on it , well it wasn't well done. I ordered a charred hotdog (which cost more???y I have no idea) it was bathed in way too much mustard soaking the bun n ripped the bun n caused a mess of it all.....a experience worth coming back to??? Lol nope as u can see I wound up just eating the dog only

Everyone was friendly and the food was really good. I was nervous about stopping into a gyro shop i dont know because it can be hit or miss. Big hit here. King gyro was huge....plenty of fries too. This place reminds me of the old school places that build their business off of good food and big portions rather than penny pinching.

Nice place, good service. I found the gyros bland, both the meat and especially the sauce, which was somehow less interesting than plain sour cream. Wished for more tomatoes and onions as well. I may be spoiled by some really good gyros in Milwaukee where I live. Check out Oakland Gyros if ever in town.

Great place for a quick bite to eat, always fast and fresh, the gyros are great here! The service is friendly and the place is always clean, very nice indeed!

Slowest drive thru ever... 3 cars drove off it was such a long wait, and I would if I had not paid already. Then we get asked to take a number and pull up and wait an additional 10 minutes. Terrible.

I love the Gyros here. The meat is delicious and the other ingredients are fresh. I always get them on the side and build my own sandwich. I also had the fried mushrooms and they were also good. I got the marinara sauce for them and had plenty for the whole sack. I am a truck driver and can't get good Gyros on the road, so I try to stop when I am in town and they never disappoint.

Slow service and food is okay, very pricey for what you get.

one more time and the last, ordered a dry beef with juice on the side. In a hurry snd when i got home it had been a dunked soggy beef..Back to Portillo's.

Best food in the north suburbs

For one, I got violently ill upon eating here. Second, they frequently skimp on portions, and sometimes even forget to put your items in the bag...then third, the manager will tell you (after you get home) that you can't get a refund because he doesn't know how to work the machine apparently. The manager. So either you get scammed, or you get ill. Welcome to Skippy's.

The food was absolutely delicious ! The Athenian chicken pita was so juicy - I would highly recommend. The people who work there are so nice and have a great passion for their products.

A bit expensive quality of food not bad cheese for fries isn't the best fries were awsome sausage for combo was ehhhh...but the beef was real good . Bacon cheese burger was also good if it was $20 bucks understandable but it was $25 for combo drink burger an fry

Great Italian beef sandwich... I got it with extra cheese and hot peppers, which I think really made it.

Horrible place to go went in for a meal ask for extra crispy fries and took it to go back to my hotel and i checked the fries about half way their and they were all soggy so I call back and the Manager says it's been an hr and he can't do anything even tho it was like 10 min. When all he had to do is apologize and either refund my money or make my meal over but he just wanted to push me aside plus the food was greasy and poor quality go to Tommy's!!!!!!!!!! Way better quality and friendlier atmosphere. Stay away from this place unless u like crappie service and horrible food.

Pretty good food the prices are average just don't do the lemon flavored italianize it's not that great.

Love to get the Greek salad with gyro or chicken gyro meat on top--delish and plenty for 2 meals. Sweet potato fries are also good.

ALLERGY alert: good food but they must use soy protein in their gyro meat as a filler because my husband had a reaction and is allergic to soy. The woman on the phone stated that they do not use peanut oil FYI for anyone with peanut allergies wishing to eat here.

Typical American fanfare with quality as the main ingredient. During my visit I had the gyro with French fries and side of onion rings and fountain soda to refresh the palate. The gyro sandwich had to weigh about 1.5 lbs! You get your money's worth. I was not expecting much but was surprised by the quality of the ingredients and how flavorful the fries and battered onion rings were. Next time I'm in town, I'll be sure not to skip on Skippy's Gyros.
